If you happen to find yourself amongst the remnants of the fall harvest this Halloween season in the waning hours of the day, grab the nearest torch and watch out for mischievous scarecrows of the pumpkin, bucket and cornstalk-head variety! Night of the Scarecrows, a Halloween-themed match game involving zombie-esque scarecrow heads, helpful crows and oddly defensive goats (for some reason), reenacts this exact situation in case you’re in need of practice prior to any scheduled holiday cornfield romps. Just be sure to brush up on your goat herding as well, otherwise you’ll never be able to catch them in order to convince them to help!
If ghosts and goblins (or at least toddlers dressed up as such) aren’t your particular cup of pumpkin spiced latte (mmm!), how about taking in a round of golf at the local cemetery with Graveyard Golf, a Halloween-themed mini golf game (or “putt putt” to us Midwesterners)? Because, as Ghost, a word game by the Plastic Sturgeon, shows us, the key is being bested by one of us poor meat bags in a rousing spelling competition. The stakes? No less than eternal peace in the great beyond.
Ghost: a word game about avoiding the inevitable end.
Can you help free a ghost, trapped in this world? Or will you fail and become a ghost yourself.

As we've all been taught by our primary societal teacher, Hollywood, when we leave this mortal coil and shed our corporeal forms, we all drift to our final resting places as ghosts. Perhaps you were unaware, but it turns out, we find our final resting places by following disconnected ropes patched together by spider webs. Thankfully, the kind souls over at splashworks have created a training simulator for us in the form of a puzzle game called R.I.P. How considerate of them!
Ghosts are sliding down ropes but need paths created to get them to the tombstones. Collect points, power-ups and more along the way.
Will they burn or be saved? Can you help the troubled souls?
