Clockwords: Prelude is the beginning of the story of an inventor, an old closet and the temperamental machine with a mind of it’s own he finds within. Feed the machine with garrulous language to protect it from the invading mechanical critters sent to steal it’s secrets from a rival inventors through 40 levels of this Victorian spelling bee meets Space Invaders word action game. Form stronger, more powerful words by combining existing letters in alchemistical concoctions using the Transmutation Chamber and discover new, stronger materials. (“Can I get a Bronze Level 5 vowel, Vanna?”). And compete for the most powerful words with other players worldwide. (How do you spell super-cala-fragel-istic-expiala-docious again?)
