I have a confession to share, and I want you all to listen loudly and clearly. Ready?

I. Love. Bloons.

I can’t quite put my finger on it; maybe it’s the ‘pop’ sound they make when they explode. Maybe it’s the boyish need in me to destroy something. Maybe it’s the satisfaction that, with a single dart, I can vanquish so many balloons to the depths of balloon hell. Or, maybe I just like the pretty colors. Who knows?!

I am, what you might call, a bloonatic. Mine is not what some refer to as Bloon fever. Mine is a much more serious condition known as OCBPD: Obsessive Compulsive Bloon-Popping Disease. I must, MUST, pop that balloon. I wreak havoc at 5 year old’s birthday parties. I have been banned from Chuck-E-Cheese’s across the nation (here I come, Canada). The Clown’s Union has a hit-clown out for me. (I’ve been ambushed several times, but, thankfully relieved when, after they pull the trigger, a white sheet with the word “Bang” shoots out.) Thrice have attempted my crowning achievement only to be thwarted by crafty, and quick, hot air balloon operators.

I. LOVE. Bloons.

To my utter elation, the wonderful souls over at Ninja Kiwi have just released a Spring flavored level pack of their latest version, Bloons 2. Continuing the bloon-popping, arcade game action with all the previous frivolity, now with in Spring-y, bunny fashion, in 48 new levels and including rose bloons with exploding thorns, “Oh, you shouldn’t have!” gift bloons with pleasant surprises and Easter egg bloons with more than chocolate inside (think “boom”), Bloons 2: Spring Fling will happily fill the dart hucking, bloon popping void that’s been building since mid-December (following your domination of the previous Holiday-themed level pack, Bloons 2: Christmas Expansion).
