Ahhh. It’s that time of year again: the kiddies are back in school, the leaves are turning, and the decapitated heads are once again being smashed by various sharpened objects. Yep, you guessed it, it’s Halloween season!
Except, this time, it’s decapitated smileys instead of washed up 90210 actors.
Of course, I’m referring to Roly-Poly Eliminator 2: a physics, puzzle game involving the destruction of once cute, now evil, smileys who had apparently gone on to form their own society only to have it crumble into ghoulish, monstrous (albeit somewhat still cute) pieces. Your goal: total smiley annihilation. Your tools: gravity and a pair of chain cutters, along with some blocks, pendulums and many, many sharpened spikes. Why? Pure bloody fun (emphasis on the bloody). C’mon! What, I ask you, could be more fun than blood-filled physics related puzzle solving through 50 levels of glorious, legal, decapitated, previously partially cuddly, now entirely gruesome monster head smashing fun? Nothing, I tell you. Nothing! It’s the perfect way to kick off the Halloween season.
My favorite levels, you ask? Well, the bloody monster head pinball in Levels 12 & 13, of course. And who could forget “The Death Pendulum” of Level 15! Yum!
To play with them before the fall of their once great empire, despite the horrible music, annoying sounds, and significantly lacking amount of blood (if you’re into that sort of thing..), try Roly-Poly Eliminator.
Or if you’re the “smiley go BOOM”-type, try out the 25 levels of monsterously explosive (sorry, I just couldn’t resist), but a little less premeditated, fun in Roly-Poly Monsters.
Regardless, Halloween season has begun. Game on ghouls and ghoulettes!
